ProposalCrafter: Independent Business Development Consultant Since 1992.

ProposalCrafter has finished his final proposal, capping 17 years of helping clients’ proposal teams win new and follow-on business with:
  • TOC Conformance Builder – Craft a Competitive Proposal TOC (Table of Contents) Progressively from Section L Instructions, Section M Evaluation Criteria and Section C Statement of Work.
  • Theme Threader – Craft Consistent and Effective Placement of Proposal Themes as an Authors’ Guide and Reminder.
  • Comprehensive Compliance Matrix – Craft a Six-column Road Map from Sections L, M and C to the TOC that Points the Source Selection Team to the pertinent Proposal Paragraphs and Pages.
  • Executive Summary – Craft Key Benefits and Features Persuasively for the Source Selection Authority.
Satisfied clients have included large public companies such as AT&T, and small employee-owned businesses such as Vaxcom Services whose operations depend on an independent contractor base. I’m deeply grateful for the fine memories of people, projects and products in the 60 years of systems engineering that grew out of my start in World War II electronics.

ProposalCrafter has also finished helping job-seekers craft smaller proposals called résumés as the volunteer coach of a weekly résumé-writing workshop for the Loudoun County Virginia Workforce Resource Center. In seven years and 2,000 hours of service, he helped 1,400 job-seekers to compete successfully in difficult markets with compelling résumés. The Why-Hire-Me website for the workshop and other interested users is no longer operational.
